Optivote is a voting system for schools, universities, private and public companies and organizations. Existing PowerPoint presentations with or without questions can be used, and templates with questions and answers are quickly and easily created.

Optivote offers teachers a way of engaging all of their class. The students are actively involved, enthusiastic and even the shiest of children is happy to submit their answer safe in the knowledge that their response cannot be seen by their classmates.

Immediate feedback during the lesson offers teachers the opportunity to know if their class is "getting it". This gives the teacher the option to revisit points if necessary or to carry on with confidence.

The hardware is portable and simply plugs into your PC or laptop with a USB connection. It requires no other power supply so is a great resource for sharing between classrooms. All you require is a laptop, projector and Optivote to make your whole class interactive.
Optivote works well with the eBeam interactive technology and the NorTechna Whiteboard. Optivote also works without an interactive whiteboard.
Optivote is perfect for surveys and other studies in a school district, or between remote offices of a company, since the voting can be done via the Internet and the results stored on a local server. The actual voting is done with handsets that have choices from A-H or color selections. Requires Windows OS.
